Tuscany is famous for its production of wine. Some of the most famous and well known Tuscan wines are listed below.
Chianti
One
of the most well known wines to originate out of Tuscany is Chianti
which is in fact one of the best known wines in Italy. Chianti used to
be instantly recognisable by its squat bottle which is enclosed in a
straw basket, known as a fiasco, but these are less popular in modern
times.
Chianti is made solely out of Sangiovese grapes, a tradition red wine grape which could previously only be found in the vineyards of Tuscany but which is now grown in vineyards worldwide.
Brunello is made from a clone of the sangiovese red wine grape, known as the Brunello clone. It is aged in oak casks for at leastt 2 years and will not be found available for sale no sooner than the fifth year after the harvest of the grapes.

Brunello di Montalcino is a red wine produced in the vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino in Tuscany. it is also known as being one of the most expensive wines in Italy.Brunello is made from a clone of the sangiovese red wine grape, known as the Brunello clone. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Vino
Noble di Montepulciano is a red wine produced in the vineyards
surrounding the town of Montepulciano in Tuscany. The wine is also made
primarily from the Sangiovese grape variety of red wine grape although
it is often blended with Canaiolo Nero and small amounts of other local
varieties such as Mammolo.
